Dangers of Lead Based Paints

Lead based paints were used in many houses and apartments in the years before 1978. These paints can cause serious health hazards when they start to chip or crumble. Due to its potential to cause a lot of health disorders, the government issued a ban on the use of all lead based paints either for construction use or in other industries like in toy making.
